Artist's Statement：

It took many years for my mother to grow a tulip tree — we were boisterous children who destroyed most of her early efforts. I now have seven beautiful tulip trees in my garden, in memory of her dedication. In autumn, their colours turn a pure golden yellow as they shed their leaves for their winter rest, ready to begin the journey through the seasons once more. I am always thrilled by the strength of nature’s yearly cycle.
